Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the launch and ramp-up of a high-volume automated battery cell assembly line. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge manufacturing technology in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on engineering support during production launch and ramp-up.
- Troubleshoot automated assembly equipment, robotics, servo systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality, yield, and equipment performance.
- Support commissioning, production readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing data to improve throughput, OEE, and overall production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Manufacturing engineering experience in automated production environments.
- Experience with manufacturing line launches, equipment commissioning, or production ramp-ups.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Excel, CAD, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience with automated welding/joining technologies, SPC, OEE, or process capability (Cp/Cpk).
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo systems, automation controls, Minitab, or Python is a plus.
- Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Flexibility required during production launches
- Occasional evenings/weekends during peak production
