A children’s hospital in West Virginia is seeking a nurse practitioner to provide full-time neonatal coverage in a NICU setting within a well-supported clinical team of 13 APPs. This role offers a variety of shift options including 12-hour, 16-hour, and 24-hour shifts, supporting an average daily patient volume of 8 to 10 and requiring comfort with a full range of neonatal procedures such as intubations, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, umbilical catheterization, and ventilator management.
The provider will also attend high-risk deliveries and work in a collaborative environment with attending physicians available in-house 24/7, making this an ideal opportunity for NPs with strong critical care experience who are confident managing complex neonatal cases.
