• Provide patient care in the stepdown/PCU unit, including ADLs, vitals, bathing, toileting, feeding, repositioning, answering call lights, and blood sugars.
• Manage cardiac monitoring and titrate drips such as cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, and angiomax.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, hospitalists, intensivists, and RT staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Troubleshoot and manage respiratory equipment including vents, Cpap, BiPap, and High Flow devices.
• Read and interpret telemonitor strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms.
• Support patient safety and comfort within a fast-paced ICU environment.
