Registered Nurse - Stepdown/PCU
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour nights with weekends as scheduled.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Stepdown/PCU to provide high-quality care for patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cardiac patients and utilizing various protocols and treatments, including CIWA, pacemakers, and cardiac drips.
Administer medications and titrate cardiac drips as per physician's orders.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record (Cerner).
Must have at least 2 years of Stepdown/PCU nursing experience.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and managing cardiac drips.
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and understand cardiac rhythms.
