Opportunity:

RN - Registered Nurse

• Night shift position
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on collected patient data
• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis in collaboration with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Provide timely patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences
• Maintain accurate, succinct, and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit
• Utilize nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with priority on patient and family education
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and begin patient teaching in anticipation of discharge date
• Communicate all pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physician and Charge Nurse
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS required prior to first shift
