Job Overview
The role supports Cencora’s distribution services through our Amerisource Bergen business and involves store layout, merchandising, and inventory management for retail and specialty pharmacy partners.
Job Details- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
- Compensation: $47,000 – $52,000 depending on location and experience.
- Travel: 35% average, including overnight trips.
- Implement company standards for store appearance and merchandise arrangement by collaborating with in‑store personnel.
- Assist new customers with initial store set‑up and optimal merchandise stocking techniques.
- Evaluate current store stock levels and replenish inventory by placing orders or supplying suggested ordering quantities.
- Remove damaged and outdated merchandise from shelves and administer the returns process for qualified stores.
- Participate in product relocation, store resets, and labeling for new and existing inventories.
- Merchandise specific categories within a store using planogram implementation based on analytical store‑specific data.
- Serve as a front‑end consultant to customers on product placement and merchandising concepts.
- Use ABC reporting data to gauge product sales and ordering from DCs, and generate tailored reports for store personnel as needed.
- Prepare store layout and design drawings using Visio software for qualified customers.
- Record all store activities and observations into CRM.
- Maintain collaborative efforts and communications with Community & Specialty Pharmacy, Health Systems, and Business Development Sales teams.
- Attend district and regional meetings, trainings, and trade shows as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar, typically achieved through a four‑year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Normally requires 2 to 4 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
- Good selling and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products.
- Strong creativity, focus and discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Mathematical proficiency.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel 50% or more within the assigned territory and other areas if required.
