We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth by acquiring new merchants and expanding partnerships for our payment gateway solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a deep understanding of digital payments, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and onboard new merchants (e-commerce, retail, SaaS, fintech, etc.)
  • Promote and sell payment gateway solutions (online payments, APIs, checkout systems)
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to customize solutions for clients
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → pitching → closing → onboarding
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest improvements
  • Ensure client satisfaction and handle post-sales support coordination
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in sales/business development (preferably fintech/payments)
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, digital payments, APIs, and fintech ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with payment processors, banks, or fintech companies
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance, fraud prevention, and payment security
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot)
  • Understanding of local and international payment methods
