Supervises the daily activities of facilities management personnel in assigned areas.
Minimum QualificationsEDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Valid driver's license.
- Three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance with one (1) year previous supervisory duties.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical Journeyman licensure
- Master’s Electrician licensure
- HVAC Refrigerant licensure
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assigns and coordinates the department workflow and inspects work to ensure that standards are met.
- Schedules staff shifts, may perform maintenance duties in instance of staff shortage.
- Investigates and addresses complaints regarding poor maintenance service.
- Provides training to the maintenance staff and maintain staffing levels within budget.
- Regularly takes inventory of tools and PPE and ordering stock as needed.
- Suggests ways to increase productivity through the use of labor‑saving equipment or supplies.
- Assists in personnel matters within department.

- Capable of climbing the height of all Maintenance Department ladders not to exceed 40 ft. in height. Also making essential repairs and clean vents, lights and windows for an extended shift.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach and capable of normal rotation, and standing for an extended shift. Able to lift fifty pounds from floor to a height of five feet and capable of moving all types of furniture, Equipment and machinery up to 400 ft. or more.
- Must meet Department of Labor’s Heavy Duty Standard. (Heavy Work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects).

- Able to tolerate working with all types of cleaning solutions and Maintenance Department chemicals. Capable of working in heavy dust areas for extended shifts. Capable of working in and around 100‑degree temperatures and very excessive noise areas.
- Capable of operating all types of outside grounds equipment.
- Capable of operating, setting up all types of in‑house maintenance tools and machinery.
Capable of working all three shifts alone.
- Capable of operating and driving all Hospital vehicles making runs from city to city.
- Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
- Capable of working all three shifts and weekends when scheduled.
