Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring an experienced professional to support day‑to‑day supply chain logistics operations, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective movement of materials while maintaining accurate data, reporting, and visibility. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs partners to execute shipments, resolve issues, and provide data‑driven insights that improve logistics performance.
The successful candidate will leverage a combination of operational judgment, analytical skills, and curiosity to support both the execution and continuous improvement of logistics operations. They will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to ensure reliable material movement, accurate data, and timely communication, while contributing insights that help optimize cost, service, and scalability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a meaningful role in building and supporting the logistics foundation of a fast‑moving company with breakthrough technology and a compelling mission.
This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000‑square‑foot, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose‑built for high‑volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast‑moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large‑scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt.
This is a hybrid role, which will require working onsite from our office 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do- Own daily shipment execution and bookings across domestic and international modes (air, ocean, and ground), ensuring shipments are scheduled, tendered, and executed accurately and on time.
- Serve as the primary daily interface with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers, managing communication, resolving issues, and maintaining strong working relationships to support reliable service.
- Maintain shipment visibility and manage exceptions end‑to‑end, proactively identifying risks, escalating issues, and driving resolution to protect delivery timelines.
- Manage freight invoice review and reconciliation, validating charges against contracted rates and shipment details, resolving discrepancies, and supporting accurate accruals and cost tracking.
- Maintain and analyze logistics data and reporting—including shipment volume, transit performance, expedite usage, and freight spend—and create dashboards to support operational decisions and continuous improvement.
