Bus Operator, Route 31

Immediate Supervisor

Supervisor of Transportation

Qualifications
  • State Certified Bus Operator
  • Hold Commercial Driver's License with P & S Endorsements
  • Complete or have completed the 40 Hours of Classroom Training & Driving Requirements
  • Hold First Aid Card
  • Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test
  • Department of Motor Vehicles Check Completed and Approved
  • Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Other as outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers
Additional Requirements
  • Transport students with special needs
  • Assist in securing students safely on the bus
Employment Term

200 day contract beginning 1st day of the 2026/2027 school year (position will start and stop at the Bus Garage).

Salary

Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
