INFANT TODDLER TEACHER
Position Status: NON-Exempt / HOURLY |

This is a seasonal full-time position, with an approximate start date in March/April and running through December, including downtime during the off-peak period. Pay rate will be determined based on the current credentials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Plan and conduct classroom instructional curriculum and activities for assigned children to encourage the growth of language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication skills.
- Supervise and monitor the work activities of assigned Teacher Aides, Classroom Floaters, and Volunteers.
- Conduct and monitor developmental screening of children and assist in collaborating and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
- Monitor progress of individual children, perform daily health checks, and participate in parent-staff conferences during home visits.
- Prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
- May perform office staff duties and assist in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating Teacher Aides.
- Represent the MSHS program to community, local, and regional educational agencies.
- Stay current on new educational practices, techniques, and objectives.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment and provide children with experiences that develop curiosity, initiative, problem‑solving skills, and creativity.
- Develop and implement clear, reasonable, consistent, age‑appropriate rules and expectations for children.
- Manage time, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Maintain confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
- Perform all duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practices, and Head Start Performance Standards.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
