Senior Accountant

CFS is partnering with a mission‑driven human services nonprofit that provides employment services and community living support for individuals with special abilities. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative, tight‑knit accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting state and provider billing, and partnering with program leaders across the organization. This role is based in Wellesley, MA.

As the Senior Accountant, you will:

• Lead and complete the month‑end close process
• Manage state and provider billing (Mass Health, DDS, state contracts)
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Support contract renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
• Assist with audit preparation and collaborate across finance and program teams

• 3–7 years of accounting experience
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
• Strong month‑end close, billing, and reconciliation skills
• Understanding of state contracts, renewals, and amendments
• Detail‑oriented communicator who enjoys teamwork

$110,000 – $125,000, based on experience
