Haskins Automotive has been servicing the automotive needs of Greater Boston since 1929. We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our industry‑leading team. This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career with a reputable, 95‑year‑old family‑owned shop.

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician with at least five years of hands‑on experience to join our service department. The ideal candidate is a strong diagnostician who takes pride in quality workmanship and is looking for a long‑term home with a well‑established, growing shop.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes
• Perform routine maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and time estimates
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Perform Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations as needed – training provided
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Provide consistent, high‑quality work that supports our reputation for excellence

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience as an Automotive Service Technician – this is a firm requirement
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across a range of vehicle makes and models
• Positive attitude with the desire to continue developing your career
• Own basic hand tools required for the position
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced shop environment

• MA State Inspector’s License
• ASE Certifications
• Experience and/or interest in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations – training provided
• Experience with OEM diagnostic platforms and manufacturer repair procedures
• Familiarity with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar service/estimating platforms

• Base hourly wage with productivity incentive
