Entry level service technician

Wellesley Mazda is currently looking for ENTRY-LEVEL full time Automotive Service Technicians. We offer competitive compensation for the right candidates.

No experience required! We are looking for candidates who are passionate about cars, who are ready to start an exciting career in the automotive industry!

Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles with integrity and ethics, while also maintaining a positive relationship with clients who return.

A Wellesley Mazda Service Technician must be a self-driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and be enthusiastic about learning the job.

• Technicians will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately, doing so within both dealership and factory requirements.
• Technician candidates will learn to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs for them.
• Clearly documents and records work that is performed on the repair order under his/her supervision.
• Effectively communicate with the designated service manager or advisor when the above adjustments and additional work is needed.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician / service manager.
• Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.

• A valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
• Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
