** The Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Wellesley College invites applications for a one-year full-time position as Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor for 2026-27. We are seeking a feminist scholar whose research and teaching focuses on issues of reproductive politics/justice. The department is committed to an intersectional approach.  Must be able to teach “Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies.” The course load is 5 courses.

In addition to class meeting times, the applicant will hold regular office hours in person and promptly respond to student inquiries throughout the semester.

***** PhD required at start of appointment. Some prior teaching experience required. Intersectional approach in teaching and research.
