The Arts and Humanities Division at Babson College has openings for an Adjunct Instructor of Writing for the Spring 2026 semester.

The College’s Writing Program consists of a two-course sequence emphasizing writing across contexts. The instructor will teach up to three sections of either Writing Across Contexts (WRT
1001) or Research Writing (WRT
2000). Babson College is an independent school of management that takes an innovative approach to prepare undergraduates, graduate students, and working professionals for the challenges of the modern business world. Babson undergraduate students take approximately half of their credits in the liberal arts. Babson’s unique curriculum focuses on developing critical thinking and a wide range of multidimensional skills that prepare Babson graduates to make important contributions to business and society in dynamic environments.

What

you will do

Teach writing courses in our undergraduate program. Take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and coaching from colleagues. Assume additional responsibilities as required.

What education and skills you will need

A master’s degree and experience teaching college-level first-year composition are required. How and where you will work

This position requires the ability to teach courses in-person, on-campus. The rate for this position in the Arts & Humanities Division is $7437 per course equivalency (CE).
