Performing Arts Roles/ Dance Instructor
About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part‑time with our Wellesley, MA Music School, At Your Door Music. This teaching position is IN PERSON and in students' homes in the Newton, Wellesley, Weston areas and surrounding towns.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
This position is unique as the instructor will need a reliable mode of transportation as they will be instructing in family residences, in person.
Responsibilities- Teach voice lessons (60‑minute one‑on‑one) in students' homes
- Schedule and maintain consistent lesson times
- Provide instruction to young musicians ages six and up, including beginners, intermediate and advanced levels
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience
- Demonstrated love of teaching
- Experience working with young musicians
- Robust appreciation for punctuality
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a routine background check
- Pay: $35‑$40 per hour
