What You Will Do
Teach courses in our undergraduate programs. Adjunct faculty have the opportunity to take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and obtain coaching from colleagues. Assume additional responsibilities as required.
What Education and Skills You Will NeedRequires an ABD in an appropriate Social Science discipline and college teaching experience. This position is well-suited for an advanced graduate student seeking teaching experience in preparation for entering the faculty job market. Demonstrate a passion for teaching a range of students, be collaborative team‑players, be willing to learn and adapt teaching technology, and have experience that can quickly establish credibility in the classroom. Be a team player and excited to coordinate teaching with other faculty in the division.
Courses will usually be in‑person on Babson’s Wellesley campus during regular semesters and will meet for 90 minutes twice a week on either Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. The rate for this position is $7,437 per course equivalency (CE).
