Wellesley College’s Department of Africana Studies invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Comparative English Literature with a focus on African American Literature, to begin Fall 2027. The candidate will teach four courses per year and pursue rigorous research aimed at a strong publication record.
Minimum qualifications include a doctorate by the start date; advanced training in Comparative Literature or Africana Studies is encouraged.
