Located in Greater Boston, Mass Bay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offeringassociate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

Position Summary:

Theideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desireand ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. Core Values Strong Families, Inc.(CVSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, families, andunderserved communities through education, workforce development, financial literacy, wellness initiatives, STEAM programming, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. A key responsibility of this position includes supportingCVSF's Reaching, Teaching, Growing (RTG) tutoring and academic enrichmentprogram by assisting with student engagement, homework support, literacyactivities, and educational programming

Key

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide administrative and office support;
  • Assist with the RTG tutoring and academic enrichment program;
  • Help coordinate volunteers and program participants;
  • Support community events and workshops;
  • Maintain program records and databases;
  • Answer emails, prepare materials, and organize supplies;
  • Assist with scheduling and general office operations;
  • Support outreach to community partners and families.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Consistent and reliable work habits;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • A willingness to always learn new things;
  • No Experience Necessary; and
  • Ability to proofread with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action;
  • Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Passion for education, community service, and youth development.
