Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Tax & Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in tax strategy and financial planning, coupled with experience working with high‑net‑worth clients or within a wealth management environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing integrated financial plans, identifying tax optimization opportunities, and supporting clients in achieving their long‑term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that incorporate tax‑efficient strategies
  • Provide proactive tax planning for individuals, families, and closely held businesses
  • Collaborate with advisors to align investment, estate, and retirement strategies with tax considerations
  • Analyze client financial data and tax returns to identify planning opportunities and risks
  • Prepare or review tax projections and scenario analyses
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulatory changes and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
  • Support client meetings by presenting insights and planning recommendations
  • Partner with external professionals (CPAs, attorneys) as needed
  • Assist in maintaining documentation, compliance, and best practices
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in tax planning, financial planning, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of individual and business taxation
  • Experience working with financial plans, projections, and tax strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience in wealth management, family office, or advisory environment
  • Familiarity with high‑net‑worth client planning
  • CFP or interest in pursuing CFP designation is a plus
  • Experience with financial planning and tax software tools e.g. Bloomberg Tax, Money Guide
