Financial Advisor - Training Provided

Northwestern Mutual seeks a Financial Advisor to join our Wellesley Hills office. This is an exciting opportunity open to individuals seeking to begin a career in financial services, including recent college graduates, as well experienced candidates and career-changers.

• Grow your client base by making new connections, maintaining a strong referral network, and providing a great client experience
• Build personalized, holistic financial plans tailored to every client’s unique needs
• Manage your client’s financial plans to help them achieve their goals
• Grow relationships with clients to support them through every stage of life

The ideal candidate will deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. They should be comfortable creating financial plans and cross checking work to ensure complete accuracy of information.

Business Development: establishing relationships with new clients through leads, referrals, and calls

Meeting with clients to discuss financial planning, including investment management and insurance

Coordinating with internal office teams to deliver customized financial plans for clients and develop comprehensive solutions for their financial goals. Additionally responsible for day-to-day client relationship management and financial advisory.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a client/customer-facing role (includes sales, client/investor relations, customer service, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in the Financial Services sector

This position starts out as onsite at our Wellesley, MA offices, Monday - Friday, regular business hours.
Must live within commuting distance of our office or be able to relocate to the Boston metro area prior to start.
