SLC Management offers a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work three or more days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.
Job Description:- Perform daily cash reconciliations between investment accounting systems and bank accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor and document cash receipts and disbursements related to investment and operational activities.
- Process, verify, and maintain documentation for fixed income and derivative transactions, including trade confirmations, settlements, exchanges, and terminations.
- Coordinate wire transfers and settlement communications with counter parties and custodial institutions.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules related to investment settlements, foreign exchange activity, derivative transactions, guarantee fees, bank activity, and other accounting adjustments.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and control requirements.
- Produce monthly investment, accounting, and control reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, foreign exchange analyses, derivative reporting, and portfolio reporting.
- Generate investment analytics and portfolio support reports as required.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting, treasury, investment operations, or financial reporting experience.
- Experience working with fixed income securities, derivatives, investment accounting, or treasury operations preferred.
- Experience with investment management and accounting systems such as Black Rock Aladdin, Summit, or similar platforms is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Understanding of fixed income securities, derivative instruments, foreign exchange transactions, and investment settlement processes.
- Experience with cash reconciliation and treasury management activities.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with portfolio managers, operations teams, auditors, custodians, and external counter parties.
