Position Summary CVS Health is seeking a Data Scientist to support Specialty Operations through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven solutions. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and drive measurable business impact across specialty pharmacy and healthcare operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong statistical and analytical expertise with business acumen and communication skills. This individual will develop predictive models, perform exploratory and statistical analyses, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for operational and executive audiences. Experience working in consulting-oriented or business-facing environments is highly valued.

This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to emerging AI initiatives, including the design and development of AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related quantitative field
* Strong experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques
* Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and model development
* Experience working with SQL and large-scale structured datasets
* Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical business stakeholders
* Experience developing dashboards, reports, or operational insights that drive business decisions
* Knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, hypothesis testing, and forecasting
* Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, business-facing environment
* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills###

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare operations analytics
* Consulting experience or experience operating in highly collaborative, client-facing environments
* Experience developing or deploying AI agents, generative AI solutions, or intelligent automation workflows
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Experience using modern AI/ML frameworks and tools such as Lang Chain, OpenAI APIs, or orchestration frameworks
* Knowledge of operational analytics, workforce optimization, or process improvement methodologies
* Experience working with unstructured data and natural language processing techniques### Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field required
* Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
