We are growing and looking for a skilled R&I Technician to join our team.
Position SummaryThe R&I Technician is a critical role in our production workflow. You will be responsible for the professional disassembly and reassembly of vehicles entering and exiting the repair process — ensuring parts are properly removed, catalogued, and reinstalled to manufacturer specifications. This is a primary R&I role with a clear path to expand into body repair for the right candidate.

- Safely remove and reinstall mechanical and electronic components as required by repair plans
- Identify and document all damaged, broken, or missing parts during teardown
- Work closely with estimators and body technicians to ensure accurate parts ordering and smooth production flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Handle parts with care to prevent additional damage and ensure proper reinstallation
- Perform quality checks on reassembled vehicles to verify fitment and function
- Assist with shop operations as directed by management
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as an R&I Technician in a collision repair environment — this is a firm requirement
- Demonstrated proficiency with disassembly and reassembly of a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Familiarity with OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality in a fast‑paced production shop
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Own basic hand tools required for the position
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- I‑CAR training or equivalent certifications
- Experience with ADAS components and calibration requirements
- Familiarity with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar estimating platforms
- Experience working in a direct repair program (DRP) shop environment
- Interest in growing into body repair — we actively develop talent from within
- Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience
- Health Insurance with company contribution
- Dental Coverage
- Vision Coverage
- 401(k) Retirement Plan with percentage match
- Paid Holidays
- Paid Personal Time Off (PTO) — 13 days per year
- Paid Training & Career Development Program
- Employee Purchase Plan
- AFLAC Voluntary Benefits Package
- Consistent, full‑time hours in a stable, established shop
- Opportunity to grow your skills and advance into body repair
- A shop with nearly 100 years of reputation behind it — and a team that takes pride in their work
