Volunteer Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help tell our story, grow our reach, and strengthen how we show up publicly.

This is a hands-on role - you will work closely with leadership and build content that directly impacts women navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Start Date: May 2026

Initial Term: strong potential for full-time role on our team

• Write and develop content for email newsletters, website, and social media
• Capture and elevate member stories (with care and sensitivity)
• Help shape JDW's voice and messaging across platforms

• Update the JDW website
• Improve clarity, flow, and storytelling across key pages

• Manage JDW's social channels (primarily Linked In, facebok & Instagram)
• Create and schedule posts that reflect our mission and community

• Support creation one-pagers and event materials
• Help ensure consistency across all public-facing content
• Assist with campaigns tied to events and fundraising

• Strong writer who can keep things clear, human, and compelling
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Organized and able to manage multiple small projects at once
• Interested in storytelling, social impact, and women's issues
• Not afraid to ask questions or share ideas
• Have experience with Canva, Zoom, and basic web tools
• Interest in nonprofit or mission-driven work
