PositionSummary
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. Core Values Strong Families, Inc.(CVSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, families, and underserved communities through education, workforce development, financial literacy, wellness initiatives, STEAM programming, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
CVSF is seeking creative and motivated students to help increase community awareness of our programs through marketing, communications, graphic design, photography, social media, and outreach. Interns will play an important role in promoting educational programs, volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and community events.
- Create social media content and promotional campaigns;
- Design flyers, graphics, newsletters, and marketing materials;
- Assist with photography and event coverage;
- Support website updates and digital communications;
- Help develop community partnerships and outreach efforts;
- Promote volunteer opportunities and special events; and
- Assist with storytelling, impact reporting, and public relations;
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications- Consistent and reliable work habits;
- Problem-solving skills;
- A willingness to always learn new things;
- No Experience Necessary; and
- Ability to proofread with accuracy.
- Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affimative Action;
- Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms is a plus;
- Knowledge of social media platforms;
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
Salary Range: $19 per hour
