This role is ideal for a dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys working with 6th‑8th graders and thrives in a collaborative school‑based environment. You'll play a vital role in helping students reach their communication goals, working five days a week with a steady 32.5‑hour schedule.
KeyQualifications:
- SLP‑CCC credential required
- Experience in pediatric, school‑based, or healthcare SLP settings strongly preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing speech‑language intervention plans
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and document progress
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Deliver direct speech‑language therapy services to middle school students, focusing on a range of communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and required documentation
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and child study consultations
