- Our client, a well established privately owned Franchised Car Dealership in Wellingborough have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their established workshop team

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester responsibility will include:

Carry our Servicing, Repairs and Maintenance to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
Carry out Warranty Repairs
Carry out New Car PDI's and Used Car Multi-Point Checks
Carry out Class 4 & 7 MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
First-time fix with quality will be at the forefront of everything you do

Experience,

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of a NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
1+ years Post Apprenticeship experience
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements :

Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
Franchised Dealer Experience
MOT Licence (Class 4 &
7) If not you will be helped to qualify

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary of £30,000 to £39,000 DOE
