Road Works Plant Operator - Orange

We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator for work with road maintenance and construction teams based at Orange.

Commencing immediately, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of approximately 3 months initially, with potential for further work depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered.

You will be based from a depot at Orange, and working across various locations from Wellington to Lithgow to maintain the state road network within this region.

Duties will include operating a range of different plant items to support the efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure. Plant items will vary - applicants will need previous experience on a range of machines such as rollers, excavator, skid steer and loaders.

Applicants must be capable of, and willing to undertake manual labouring duties when not operating plant.

Successful Applicants will require the following:

• Current WHS White Card
• Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
• good all round fitness for manual work tasks
• previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
