About the Position

This opportunity is a seasonal 13‑week position at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235‑bed acute care hospital located in Wellington, Florida. Wellington Regional is a community hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, proud of its commitment to advanced technologies and expanding programs to meet community needs.

Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Department Manager, the technologist delivers radiographic imaging to patients of all age groups. The technologist utilizes equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment, including general radiographic procedures, mobile radiographs, and operation of mobile fluoroscopy units for imaging during surgical and/or invasive procedures. Duties also include performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy or obtain specimens for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

The technologist must apply appropriate patient care, recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures, be available for on‑call duties and arrive within thirty minutes of notification, be capable of cross‑training and floating into other areas, assist with orientation of others, and recognize and respond to stroke alerts, completing annual online training as required.

• Current State of Florida license
• Current ARRT registry in Radiology
• AHA Healthcare provider BLS
• Proficiency computer skills
• English verbal and written fluency
