As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in a rehabilitation facility that prioritizes patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of orthopedic patients to determine their physical therapy needs and developing tailored treatment plans that align with physician recommendations.
  • Implementing patient care activities, including but not limited to hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational sessions on mobility and functional activities.
  • Monitoring patient progress consistently and adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding at-home exercises, lifestyle changes, and safety measures to promote recovery and prevent injury.
  • Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and sharing important patient information for cohesive treatment.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and in a timely manner to comply with agency policies and professional standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly work with orthopedic patients comprising individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic values a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing not just on physical recovery but also on improving overall well-being and equipping patients with the knowledge and skills necessary for sustained health.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, specifically with orthopedic patients.
  • Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology, including electronic medical records and word processing software.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in advanced therapeutic modalities, and a background in patient education and community outreach will be highly regarded. Additionally, expertise in using specialized rehabilitation tools will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
