Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and active FL or compact RN licensure.

• Active FL or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications only
• CPI certification required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a US hospital required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Recent acute care experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 40 hours per week
• On-call required for 2 weekends and 15 shifts over the course of the contract
• Cath lab procedures include emergency and elective angioplasty, drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation
• 13-week contract
• Performs a variety of patient care functions in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements to meet the needs of patients, families, and the community
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 2+ years of specialty experience is required
