Level III and Newborn Nursery
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- South Florida - 12-hour Shifts

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center
. This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU
, while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida’s most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance
  • NICU Schedule
    : 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
  • Newborn Nursery Schedule
    : 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week
  • Staffing Model
    :
    • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
    • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
    • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
  • Responsibilities
    ;
    • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
    • Attend high-risk deliveries
    • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
