RN Ambulatory - Internal Medicine

• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
• Maintain professional growth and development in the nursing field and identify annual core competencies.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as an RN required
• LPN, Medical Assistant, or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if currently a Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
