SR Sales Associate

Primary responsibility is to provide excellent service to customers, striving to meet or exceed store goals and company business initiatives. Associates will perform a variety of tasks during a typical work day as directed by store management. Additional POS/Back Office responsibilities include refunds/exchanges, processing S2H and Customer Pickup orders, and maintaining adherence to all company and store operations policies and procedures.

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers by upholding company service standards and displaying a positive attitude, willingness to serve, and extensive product knowledge.
• Promote company rewards program and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of current sales promotions.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, stock arrangement, and proper merchandising; keep all areas clean and organized.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Aware of loss‑prevention concerns involving customers and staff members.
• Participate in physical inventories, assist with shipping and receiving merchandise, and help place merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Process all sales from cashier functions in accordance with policy, checking all shoes for mates.
• Process all sales and POS terminal transactions following policy and procedure.
• Handle refunds/exchanges, process S2H and Customer Pickup orders.

Customers, Sales Associates, Store Management, and District/Regional Managers.

• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with external contacts (primarily customers) and with all levels of employees.
• Basic verbal and non‑verbal communication skills, strong organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.
