All applicants recommended for employment shall comply with procedures designated by the Superintendent and School Board Policy 3.10. Procedures include, but are not limited to:

• Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board.
• Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package.
• Drug and alcohol testing for all employment categories, as prescribed by School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961.
• Pre‑employment medical examination for certain employment categories, including physical examination and testing for specified conditions.
• For certain non‑instructional applicants applying for clerical positions, a keyboarding test is required with a specified words per minute (WPM) requirement.

Pursuant to Florida Statute §435.12, finalists for employment may be required to undergo background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Additional instructions will be provided by Human Resources upon an official offer.
