Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Saturday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry while assisting with visitor direction, staff support, and other security‑related needs within the healthcare location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and assist with de‑escalation when appropriate in a professional manner.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
