Position: Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice

Location: Wellington, FL and surrounding areas

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in the AV industry. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced AV technicians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio‑visual systems in various commercial and residential environments.

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of AV systems including projectors, speakers, video walls, control systems, and more.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and schematics for AV system layouts.
• Work in various environments, including small, confined areas and at heights.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install AV equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions from senior technicians and project managers.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during installations or service calls.

• Strong communication skills – Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
• Ability to read blueprints – Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent work ethic – A motivated individual who is punctual, reliable, and eager to learn.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Physical ability – Capable of lifting heavy equipment and tools (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in small, confined areas and at heights (not afraid of heights).
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
