Position: Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wellington, Kansas

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Wellington, KS, within a school setting. This role involves providing specialized speech-language services to support student communication development throughout the academic year. The position requires travel to various school sites within the district to meet the needs of students.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education programs (IEPs) and support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and IEP goals
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective speech-language interventions tailored to student needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning and support
Desired Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability and willingness to travel between school locations as required
