Journeyman Pipefitter in Norman

Join JVD Installations Inc. as a Journeyman Pipefitter in Norman Wells, NWT, starting August 11th or 25th. Oversee pipe fabrication and installation while collaborating across trades for project success.

As a crucial part of our maintenance team, you will engage in pipe spool fabrication, blinding, valve replacements, and basic isometric drawing interpretation. Our unique Norman Wells location requires adaptability to support various trades like scaffolding and pipeline integrity activities, enhancing teamwork across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret COP Job sheets and P&IDs

• Collaborate with other trades to ensure project completion

• Demonstrate proficiency in piping demolition and bolt torquing

• Assemble and install piping sections per blueprints

• Participate in pipeline pigging and bunker entry tasks

Requirements:

• Pipefitter journeyperson or apprentice certificate

• Valid driver's license with clean abstract

• Experience with telehandlers and pipeline pigging preferred

• Ability to work safely and physically for extended periods

• Completion of all pre-access training and testing
