At Mainely Ticks, our purpose is to help protect the world where we live, work, and play. Our Seasonal Spray Technicians (with Full‑Time Benefits) are committed to this purpose.

Mainely Ticks provides tick and mosquito spray services to residential and commercial clients in accordance with industry and company standards, rules, and regulations. We offer extensive training for our Seasonal Spray Technicians who deliver valuable service to customers every day. We offer a $1,000 sign‑on bonus for applicants who obtain a valid Maine Pesticide Applicator License after 30 days of employment, or a $2,500 sign‑on bonus after 30 days of employment for applicants who already hold a Maine Category 7E license.

• Identify areas of concern using a map of the property provided, such as standing water, property lines, gardens, or environmentally sensitive areas.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and keep the vehicle and equipment clean.
• Communicate with customers, setting expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction.
• Serve as a problem solver to meet all customers’ needs.
• Complete all required service‑related documentation on a hand‑held device.
• Apply materials safely and effectively in accordance with all label, state, and federal laws and/or regulations.
• Respond quickly to unscheduled requests for service.
• Attain and maintain the State Pesticide Applicator licenses required by the company in a timely manner.

• Pay of USD $20.00 to $24.00 hourly.

No Experience Required – we’ll train you!

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 500 feet of hose.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
