Transporter - 2nd Shift
Supply materials, as required, to the Packing Room and transport finished product from the freezer line to a pallet.
Supply necessary materials, such as boxes, labels, bags, etc. to the Packing Room, to support daily production operations. Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack. Handle part boxes of product to ensure they are put in proper location in freezer. Also, pull product from freezer to be worked into the line operation. Know freezer locations and proper storage locations for product.
Stack skids. Assist in making boxes and operating the skid wrapper. Complete all required paperwork. Enter pallet tickets and other information into the computer as required. Job requires frequent bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift. Will be required to lift and stack product at and above shoulder level. Keep work area clean. Perform other duties as assigned.
High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
