A supportive mainstream primary school in Wembley is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a non-verbal child in Reception.
Role Responsibilities:
* Supporting a non-verbal child with learning, communication, and social development
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Implementing strategies in line with the EYFS framework
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
* Experience with non-verbal children (desirable)
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or supporting teaching and learning (advantageous)
* Good understanding of EYFS
* Patient, caring, and committed to a long-term role
