A well‑established fire and security provider in London is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their technical team. The business delivers high‑quality fire alarm solutions across commercial, residential, and public‑sector environments and is known for strong engineering standards, investment in training, and a long‑term approach to staff development.
This position offers a mix of installation, servicing, and maintenance work on both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are installed, maintained, and tested to the highest standards and fully compliant with BS5839‑1.
Role Responsibilities
Install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems across a range of sites
Carry out fault‑finding, testing, and remedial work
Produce accurate reports, certificates, and site documentation
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a professional service
Work across varied environments including offices, retail, and public‑sector buildings
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
Confident working on both conventional and addressable systems
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Good communication and the ability to work independently or within a team
Professional, reliable, and committed to high‑quality workmanship
