ResponsibilitiesMonitors ASB revenues and expenditures for legal compliance, budget authority, and cash flow. Knowledge of ASB guidelines and regulations, ability to educate advisors and students on compliance and best practices. Collects and receipts fines and fees for textbooks, student activities, classes and athletics. Balances cash receipts, prepares and delivers bank deposits daily. Compiles and inputs data into various spreadsheets and financial software from a variety of sources for the purpose of providing status information.
Creates purchase orders for requisition requests; determines and obtains account codes, manages student approval process. Prepares payment approvals for all purchases, audits against purchase orders. Maintains revolving fund checking account for ASB transactions; reconciles bank statements and resolves discrepancies. Reconciles monthly procurement card transactions with appropriate backup and purchase orders. Works directly with ASB advisors, coaches and students concerning budgets, transactions, refunds, fundraising rules and procedures.
Manages fundraising, cash and credit payments, cash boxes, etc. Oversee and assist with student athletic clearance. Answering phones, filing and other related duties as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent. Bilingual/bi-literate (English/Spanish) preferred. 2 years of training in accounts payable/receivable and/or purchasing and/or bookkeeping. Ability to work with deadlines accurately. Ability to be bonded. Excellent secretarial skills. Possess excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. Excellent human relation skills. Knowledge of Skyward, Intouch receipting, Final Forms and Mac computers is preferred. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

180 - 219 Day Employees
- Paid leave benefits include 10 days of sick leave, 2 personal leave days and 11 holidays.
220 - 259 Day Employees
- Paid leave benefits include 10 days of sick leave, 3 personal leave days and 11 holidays.
260 Day Employees
- Paid leave benefits include 12 days of sick leave, 2 personal leave days, 14 holidays and 12 vacation days.
Tuition reimbursement, 50% up to $450 per year for qualified expenses.
Benefits may be prorated based upon date of hire/hours per day.

The recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.
Disclosure Statement and Record Check:
Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, the recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
