JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Season Pass & Ticketing Manager supports the daily operation of Mission Ridge's Season Pass/Ticketing and Scanning teams. This position provides day-to-day leadership, prepares staff for successful operations, resolves guest and access issues, and helps ensure efficient, accurate, and friendly service at the Ticket Office and mountain access points. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Season Pass/Ticketing & IT Manager and is expected to lead daily operations and make appropriate operational decisions when the Manager is unavailable or focused on other responsibilities.
Qualifications:ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:
- Support daily operations:
Assist with the day-to-day leadership and operation of the Season Pass/Ticketing and Scanning teams. - Provide staff direction:
Serve as a primary point of contact for staff and provide clear direction, support, and problem-solving throughout the day. - Hire and train staff:
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training seasonal Ticketing and Scanning staff. - Prepare the team:
Ensure staff receive current information and are positioned appropriately for daily operations. - Reinforce expectations:
Help hold staff accountable to department expectations, schedules, policies, and established procedures. - Process guest transactions:
Assist with online purchases and eligible season pass, ticket, RFID card, and other product transactions using Snow Cloud. - Resolve access issues:
Assist guests in person and by phone with pass, ticket, account, reservation, scanning, and mountain-access concerns. - Handle guest concerns:
Support staff and guests with a calm, empathetic, guest-first approach. - Oversee daily procedures:
Complete and oversee opening and closing duties, including cash handling, drawer reconciliation, and daily reporting as assigned. - Communicate clearly:
Share operational updates, product information, policies, and procedures with staff and help ensure consistent execution. - Maintain product knowledge:
Understand Mission Ridge lift ticket and season pass products, benefits, restrictions, policies, reciprocal resort benefits, partner programs, and seasonal promotions. - Explain products accurately:
Clearly communicate product details, eligibility requirements, restrictions, and redemption procedures to guests and staff. - Coordinate across departments:
Work with other Mission Ridge teams to resolve guest and operational issues. - Improve operations:
Identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement and communicate them to the Manager. - Take initiative:
Follow through on routine assignments, special projects, and department responsibilities. - Lead when assigned:
Oversee daily Season Pass/Ticketing and Scanning operations and make appropriate day-to-day decisions when the Manager is unavailable or focused on other responsibilities. - Maintain a professional workplace:
