Job Summary: Wenatchee High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team as a full-time Business/Broadcast Media Teacher. This position involves teaching students the fundamentals of business principles and broadcast media production, while fostering a creative and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the dynamic world of media and business, equipping them with the skills necessary for success in their future careers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for business and broadcast media courses that aligns with state standards and educational goals.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and projects that encourage student engagement and creativity in media production.
- Teach students about various aspects of business, including marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and media ethics.
- Guide students in the use of technology and equipment for video production, editing, and broadcasting.
- Assess student performance through a variety of evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary learning opportunities and enhance educational offerings.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to business and media, such as clubs, competitions, and community projects.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in business and media education, incorporating relevant content into the curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty to foster a supportive educational community.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Media Production, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Business Education and/or Media Production, or eligibility for certification.
- Experience in teaching or working in a business or media production environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of current business practices, media technologies, and educational pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in using technology and media tools relevant to business and broadcast media education.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering their interest in business and media careers.

Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

SCHEDULE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
