Safety Patrol Advisor

Lincoln Elementary

Stipend: $1,695-$4,306

* Stipends will be prorated on availability to fulfill all commitments

Train and supervise 5th grade safety patrol students. Be present to monitor students. Other duties as assigned.

• Train and supervise 5th grade safety patrol students.
• Monitor students during school hours.
• Assist students, families and staff in safely crossing streets to get to and from school.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work diligently with upper elementary students.
• Demonstrate interpersonal relations, organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of age‑appropriate student leadership roles.
• Certified member of Washington Elementary staff preferred.
• Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

This position is represented by the Wenatchee Education Association.

This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits.

Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement:
The recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.

Disclosure Statement and Record Check:
Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, the recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional upon completion of the record check.
