POSITION #229-CLS-06-26 Seasonal Summer Help (3 positions) Maintenance & Operations Flexible work schedule, hours vary, up to 40 hours per week. Salary: $17.13/hr
DESCRIPTION: Extra help to assist with summer grounds maintenance and building custodial tasks to provide students and staff of the Wenatchee School District with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop. Duties may include assisting with classroom furniture set up and furniture movement; assisting with summer cleaning of district buildings; assisting with grounds clean up, weed removal and general grounds maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 17 years of age or older. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; push and pull; and talk or hear and smell. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions year round. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
